In use, the! weft F is drawn through the longitudinal groove into the hole T and the free end is guided in front of a. part g into a space between a pin h and that part, the eye of the shuttle being opposite that space. The device is secured in the shuttle by a stud D and a pin E. The devices are made right and left hand according to the direction of the unwinding of the weft from the cop.
