Abstract

Pencil and like holders.-A penholder is formed from the stalk of the Chinese millet cut to correct length without removing the skin, and heated and compressed at one end E to form the usual tapered shape, and heated and compressed at the other end, into the centre of which is secured the metal holder D for the nib.
