Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a clock whose phase is locked to a reproduced signal with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This reproducing device is provided with: a reading means for emitting light beams to a track on a disk-shaped recording medium on which address information is superimposed by performing wobbling at a constant period, and for generating a wobble signal including frequency components related to a wobbling period of the track and a reproduced signal including information data recorded in the track by using reflected light of the light beams; a clock generating means for generating a clock whose phase is synchronized with the reproduced signal by using the reproduced signal; an address detecting means for detecting the address information by using the wobble signal; and a control means for detecting a phase difference between the wobble signal and the clock and controlling an address detection operation of the address detecting means by using a result of detecting the phase difference.
